Why Publish A Blog Income Report?

Why not? My goal is to create something of my own and create a passive income stream in the process. Publishing my blog income report allows me to continue writing and more importantly, reflect back on the month to see what I did or didn’t do so well. Lastly, I have read other blog income reports such as SmartPassiveIncome, amongst others, and I like to see what they have tried. It is a form of motivation for me and I hope that this can be one for someone else. Be sure to check out CashFlowDiaries for other bloggers that share their blog income reports.

About ApexThis

ApexThis, as a whole, is my publishing arm for my creative writing in short stories, ebooks, music, apps, audio and video content. ApexThis is the publisher of the first Atlassian focused podcast, Admins of Atlassian, launching in 2015.

ApexThis originally started life as a car forum for a group of friends until it went dormant. I have resurrected this domain in 2014 as I found a new focus in life. Jan 28, 2015, my Welcome post went live signaling my restart in blogging and my path to publishing my own work as well as others.

The focus of this blog is about Life, Tech, and Food. I share things that I do to help me be better as a person or to accomplish a task more efficiently so that you too can benefit.

Additionally, income will only be reported for ApexThis business and not for personal income. I may discuss side hustles for additional side income, but only income in which I represent ApexThis will be counted.

What Happened?

The Admins of Atlassian podcast became my focus in late August 2015 until the end of the year. This impacted my ability to write consistent blog posts.

Additionally, I made a job change that caused me to uproot and move to a different state. The move, home selling, home searching, and settling, had its impacts on my ability to keep up with the blog.

What’s Next?

Currently, I am working on ways to increase my natural search traffic. This entails better keyword planning, post-structuring, and social media.

I am also restructuring my “business plan”. Given my career change, it has had an impact on my roadmap thus, I have to discard that and decide on where to focus my energies, and truly what is next. Stay tuned.
