RAWDATA

The only thing I can add to the quoted text about what Raw Data podcast is, I will say it’s an intersection of technology and life.

Thoughts

I will start with a disclaimer: I discovered Raw Data podcast after meeting one of the hosts, Michael Osborne, through Austin Podcasters. It was a simple introduction but from there I decided to listen to the podcast based on the concept, in addition, I always try to give a listen to the communities podcasts.

The focus for me was listening to the third season titled “Origin of Power”.  This season focused on the creation of Silicone Valley, it’s growth, and it’s impact on our lives. It dives into philosophical questions, challenges our thoughts on freedom, and ponders the role the internet plays in our lives.

If I was to compare this podcast to a meal, it would be a hearty one. There is lots of it for you to chew and consume and it needs your attention if you are going to do so. Michael and co-host Leslie Chang navigates us through this discussion bringing guests to help dive deeper on a topic.

While I only started with season 3 of the podcast, I eagerly await the next season. In the meantime, season 1 & 2 are looking mighty tasty.
