You know the deal. August is over and it is time we see how things went.

Monthly Focus

There was a lot of focus areas for August:

• Mixtape Formatting
• Project Dollar Revision
• Waited Revision
• UX Training

These are the primary areas to which I should be focusing on for August.

For the secondary focus I noted to do:

• Mail list
• Website Prototype
• Social Media Content Prep
• 2 podcast episodes
• 1 youtube video

Short story I am aiming to publish. First revision post 1st draft. Needs to undergo second revision after feedback.

Finance

Two items happened:

• Split podcast hosting fees for exclusive reporting for ApexThis.
• Purchased Publish & Thrive training from Hearth Breathings. Focused on self-publishing.
• Invested in writing and formatting software: ProWriting Aid & Vellum

Summary

Two secondary focus items were not completed: Mail list and Website Prototype. All other items were worked on and advanced in major ways.

What’s Next?

Focus Areas:

• Website Prototype
• Mixtape Formatting
• Waited Secondary Revision

More revisions and edits. I do love editing but it is very time consuming. Mixtape will advance to a much closer production ready phase. The Website prototype will give the website a nice update and add a bookstore. Remember, this is a long term process as it is only an imprint for my writing and productions. Lastly, as mentioned before, the Waited short story was picked up from author, me, to publish under ApexThis, me. It went through a first edit and alpha read. Now it will undergo the deep revisions before it is ready to publish.

In Closing

Another successful month. A lot of writing, revising and progress being made. There is a LOT to do in starting with self-publishing
